[Yuri Rasovsky passed away on January 18, 2012, after a year-long battle with cancer. He is and will be missed.]

Yuri Rasovsky has worked professionally in theater and broadcasting as actor, writer, director and producer since 1970. Since he founded the National Radio Theater (1972-1987), he has created hundreds of radio productions heard on commercial and public radio outlets around the world.

Yuri is currently a contributing editor at AudioFile magazine and the executive producer/director at The Hollywood Theater of the Ear.

He also works as a columnist, reviewer, cartoonist, humorist, freelance writer, editor, audio producer and arts manager.

Long resident in Chicago where he was affiliated with prestigious fine arts station WFMT, Yuri Rasovsky currently lives in Los Angeles with actress Lorna Raver.
